I’ve tried several salons in the Newark/Wilmington area but always felt like the staff wasn’t that great or professional. Since I’m getting ready to go on vacation, I made an appointment here for a Brazilian. I called when I realized I’d be late due to unexpected traffic and the girls at the front and Ev, the esthetician, were so understanding and went above and beyond to accommodate me. Once I got there, Ev greeted me right away and was so friendly throughout the whole thing. I have very sensitive skin and she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. This was my third wax, but first with Beauty Bar and now I won’t go anywhere else. Waxes can be awkward to begin with but it was nice to be with someone who actually made it enjoyable. The aesthetic was upbeat and so was the vibe of everyone there. You can tell the girls really enjoy working with each other and their clients. I already booked my next wax and a haircut with this place. Lifelong customer!

I cannot recommend The Beauty Bar enough! Kristina and her team know what they are doing. I reached out to book the team for my wedding and it was the best decision I made. They were so sweet to work with and so incredibly talented! My makeup lasted literally ALL night and my hair was flawless. The entire bridal party was absolutely gorgeous and all of our guests said we looked “photoshopped” because of how amazing everyone’s glam turned out. I also got a spray tan for my big day by Madison- she was incredibly sweet and made me feel so comfortable and I looked glowing- I’ll never go to a spray booth again! They have definitely gained a lifelong customer out of myself and my family / friends. I can’t stop raving to people about them! Do yourself a favor and book with The Beautiful Beauty Bar for any special event you have coming up!

I go here for everything! Makeup, hair, facials, nails—they have it all and they do it all WELL!! Plus, they’re so kind, whenever I need to fit in a quick appointment or need someone to come in early to do my makeup for a special occasion, they always accommodate me—even Kristina the owner has done that and I think that speaks a lot of the business. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

This place is remarkable! I had gotten extensions placed here by Tracey for my wedding! Super nice and professional. Jules did my dermaplane and facial which I felt amazing after! Again, super friendly and professional. I had Melissa do my hair for the wedding which came out absolutely beautiful! People are still talking about my hair and how it stayed in place for 7 hours! My bridesmaids also loved their hair for the wedding! Amber did my makeup and my bridesmaid and the work she performed was literally the best makeup I’ve ever seen! I never once had an issue with these women and they all did phenomenal work! I highly HIGHLY recommend this place!

What a fun experience at the Beauty Bar! From outside to inside the place is adorable 😍 I love Aveda products and my glam squad, Madison (hair) + Amber (makeup), did a fab job from start to finish! Also, the salon is Covid19 conscience and I felt safe while I was there!

This place is the best in the area.  Kristina did a phenomenal job on the makeup for my wife and her bridal party.  My wife continues to go here for all of her beauty services (hair, facials, etc).  Jennifer cuts my hair and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on how great a job she does (even from other hairdressers and barbers).  I’ve been going there since they opened.  I wouldn’t go anywhere else.  I’m a little biased though as I feel like they are part of my family, but I think they make all of their customers feel this way!  Highly recommended!
